So this is me…. your current author.
Welcome to Because Mom Said So, a site that has been in existence for quite a while (over 4 years) and has been handed down to me (Cheryl) through a contest that was held over at profitablemommyblogging.com in May of 2009. The format has changed/will be changing a bit, but you will find that this is a mom and dad friendly blog with many great work at home opportunities (view the WAHM TAB), home and family articles (also with its own friendly tab), reviews, personal stories, and hopefully many giveaways!
My mission with this site is: To boost and support other mom-based and home-based businesses by offering them reviews of their products and services, providing links to moms and dads who want to work from home (see the WAHM tab), sharing home and family articles that will enrich your lives, and of course sharing life and adventures with people I meet along the way. I would also like to take in enough revenue to sponsor a child as a blog through World vision–It’s very important to me to make a difference with this site. I know that it was with GOD’s Grace that I won this site——the competition was fierce!
About me: I am a single mom of two boys ages 6 and 4. I am a pre-k teacher here in New York to adorable 3 and 4 year olds, and I run a few other blogs as well. I love to play with my kids, write till my hands cramp, craft, paint, work in the garden and I am addicted to entering giveaways.
