I absolutely LOVE FALL. Here in Queens I can’t really appreciate the changing of the colors of the leaves, so I try to get upstate to the Catskill Mountains for a weekend or two and take in the MAJESTIC VIEWS. All I can say is Our God is an AWESOME God when I see the mountains dotted in hues of red, gold, orange and green. It’s breathtaking–Truly breath taking. As you drive deeper upstate from the city it feels like a whole other world. So peaceful, so still, so quiet. You can actually hear yourself breathing. I always take a walk with the boys and we hike the mountains behind my parents house collecting leaves along the way. The rustling of the already dry leaves beneath our feat in large contrast with the deafening silence around us is delicious. The colors rich and vibrant, the memories we make are sweet. Thank you God for your bounteous gifts.

Oh BOY! I don’t know why, but all of a sudden and within the past week or so BecauseMomSaidSo has fallen victim to a rash of spammers who are depositing literally THOUSANDS of spam comments. I kid you not–THOUSANDS of comments are being left on the same post over and over again every day (the Jumpstart Review and giveaway piece is bringing them in!). I can’t mass delete them because I have legitimate comments to approve and I don’t want to delete those of my nice readers so it takes me upwards of two hours to clear it all each day! Its all porn, or the number 24, dating sites and a whole bunch of it is straight question marks ???????????????? –Dozens and dozens of lines of question marks. I am not a techno whiz so I have no idea what it all means Nor do I know how it helps the people who deposit them if I only continue to delete them over and over again BUT WHY DO THE SAME PEOPLE KEEP COMING BACK AND LEAVE IT WHEN I KEEP DELETING IT? They must be spending hours adding them as comments and they must check back to see that it isn’t being accepted so why leave them again? As I am typing this now I see the comments growing! STOP PLEASE!!!! I tried adding the names to the spam filter but they get through. =( Anyone out there know how to work around this issue? Its driving me crazy!
