BMSS Blog Meme: Your Child’s Favorite Lullabies

There is a lot of tagging going on in the Mommy blog community so I thought I’d join in the fun and create one of our very own here at Because Mom Said So.

For this one I want to know what your child’s favorite lullabies are.

My kid’s favorite lullabies are

1. “You Are My Sunshine”
As soon as my oldest hears, “You Are My Sunshine” his eyes roll into the back of his head and he passes out.

2. They both like me to sing a song I adapted from a Kindermusik class we took years ago. I sing “Mommy loves & Daddy loves, everybody loves Malc & Natey (originally ‘little baby’.) Then we go through family & friends and all the people that love them. It’s a bit repetitive, but they love it.

3. My youngest wants me to sing “Slippery Fish,” which is not a lullaby at all, but he insists. It doesn’t calm him down at all because he’s always shouting out ideas on the next sea creature to sing about to eat the creature previous. You can check out the lyrics to this favorite here.
