Bad Mama, Bad Mama
If you’ve ever seen the movie “The Emperor’s New Groove,” imagine the title of this post replacing Kusco’s “Bad Llama, Bad Llama.” Everybody say it with me now. ;-)
Aurelia started a post over the weekend talking about how she was the bad mama because she took her 7 year old son to see Transformers. Seems a few people think that her son will be permanently scarred for life now.
The way I see it, with movies or anything else, is this. You know your child better than anyone else and just because some moms wouldn’t think a certain activity is age-appropriate for their children doesn’t mean it is the same for all children. Just like us adults, every child is different. And that’s a GOOD thing. Imagine if we all raised our children exactly alike…what a boring world this would be in a few years!
Aurelia asked other moms what things they let their children do that just might classify them in the bad mama category! Interestingly enough…there are lots of things from licking the spoon after mixing a cake to no bedtime for a 6 year old.

I honestly don't know what I do that other's think is bad. I don't ask....they don't tell. lol
I'm sure there are a lot of things, but as long as my husband and I are comfortable in the way we raise our kids that's all that matters.
