Mommy, I Got The Wrong Hair!

Last night my 4 year old daughter decided that her thick, blonde wavy locks were just too hot and long (below her chin). So instead of asking Mommy for a haircut she decided to take matters into her own hands.

She took a pair of scissors and cut the hair on the right side of her head about 1 inch long. We're talking major mullet here. So my Mom and I had to cut her hair short in order to try to make some sense of it!

It actually turned out really cute. But this morning she wakes up and comes to me and says: "Mommy, I got the wrong hair! This isn't short hair, this is boy hair!"

Poor baby. Her first bad hair day.

We're off to Target to buy some pretty flashy girly hair doo-dads. Retail therapy. Works every time!

OH MY Carrie... You know what Madisyn did this very thing a year ago this month actually. I was so sad, because it took her so long to actually get hair in the first place and then she cut it all off up to her ears... but now a year later it is back long and beautiful.

I guess we have future beauticians as daughters hehe.

Oh no! Guess that's one good thing I don't have to worry about with having a boy ;-) I do remember doing it to my own hair when I was younger though - oh it was not a pretty site....LOL!

Hope you find some great pretty girly hair things :-)
