A 10 Year Journey...And Beyond
Today is a big day. It's my 10th wedding anniversary. Many people who know me will know that last year my husband and I were separated for 9 months. I'm very excited about the anniversary and my husband is too, but sometimes he feels like we can't put the #10 on it because we were apart.
Although I wish we never had the time apart, I think it was part of the growth of our relationship...which is better than it has ever been since before we got married. Still, I understand how he's feeling.
I'm ready for the next 10 years! I certainly can't predict the future and can't say that everything will be perfect. But one thing I know is we'll be perfectly happy and together.

Good for you two Alice. I was so happy for you guys when you announced you were back together.
Marital problems can be so hard but divorce is so much worse, because your lives are still so intertwined. I've known people who were divorced and remarried for years who were still clearly in love with their first mate.
Here's to several more decades! It's work but like anything worth having, so worth it. :)
WooHoo! Congrats on your 10th anniversary. It is kind of an exciting one. DH and I also celebrated our 10th this year. It's amazing how quickly time flies. I don't even feel like I've been married for 10 years. But when I think of everything that's happened in the past 10 years, boy we've been busy!
Again, happy 10th! Enjoy it! Even though you were separated, it's still your 10th anniversary. Enjoy celebrating it.

I'm happy you and your husband made it through the hard times and have grown stronger through it! Your sons will have something to remember and learn from in their relationships! Something worth keeping takes work!
