I Miss My Guys Already
Well, the boys are off for a week with their Dad. They just left this morning and I miss them already. Is it selfish for me to be resentful that their Dad wants to be so involved in their lives? ;-)
Of course, I'm just kidding...but the only way I could have my kids more often is if they had a disinterested Dad. But I want the best for my kids, so I'll deal with it.
The first few times they went for extended Daddy visits, I got caught up on a lot of things I didn't have time for and I found the time just whizzing by. Now, I'm all caught up and have things under control...so I want my babies back.
*SIGH*
I guess I'll just enjoy this alone time and have a bit of fun. I have a weekend in Seattle planned with my friend -- shopping and checking out the nightclub scene (I love dancing!). But I still wish my babies were here.

A week is a long time...I miss mine if they're away for one day with Grandma.
But, it's good for us to miss our kids, and good for them to miss us, dontcha think? It makes you appreciate each other. Whenever dh and I are away from each other then reunite, I get pregnant. :O
Awwww. Poor mama. I can't imagine how badly I'd miss Nick if he was gone that long, but you're right - it's a good thing their daddy cares.
I had a daddy who didn't and now I have nothing to do with him so it's good to see your boys have a great daddy. But I know that doesn't make it any less lonely.

Thanks guys. They actually stayed over night last night because their Dad was not feeling well...but they're gone again tonight. :-(
